We gratefully accept new:

  • Blankets (thick/woollen)

  • Towels
  • Non-perishable food (in-date only)

Bulk food items for the Dining Room

Hutt St Centre does accept bulk quantities of products for our Dining Room, when these items meet our service delivery requirements. These donations typically come from manufacturers, suppliers, and/or distributors that can package and provide the items in bulk.

If you are a food manufacturer, supplier or distributor and have bulk items to donate, please call 08 8418 2500 and ask to speak with Kitchen Manager, Peter. Items cannot be accepted without arranging in advance.

Donations of fruits and vegetables

Due to the current outbreak of fruit fly across metropolitan Adelaide, we are unable to accept any donations of home grown fruits or vegetables. For potential donations of non-home grown fruit and vegetables, please call 08 8418 2500 and ask to speak to Kitchen Manager Peter.

For more information about fruit fly restrictions, please visit the Department of Primary Industries and Regions FAQ page.

If you are unable to accept my donation, can you recommend any other organisations?

There are many wonderful organisations supporting people experiencing homelessness, poverty and disadvantage, please find below some suggestions. We recommend contacting them directly to check their situation on accepting donations under the current COVID-19 health guidelines.
