The Walk a Mile in My Boots challenge is back for 2024!

We're thrilled to share that the Walk a Mile in My Boots challenge is back and better than ever!

This August, we're stepping up to help end homelessness. 

When you take on the Walk a Mile in My Boots challenge, you'll show your support for more than 7,000 people experiencing homelessness in South Australia this winter.

Here’s how you can make a life-changing difference.

1. Register at walkamile.org.au and commit to walking a mile or more each day during National Homelessness Week, 5–11 August.
   
   
2. Invite your friends and family to sponsor you and raise vital funds to help keep Hutt St Centre’s doors open for people when they need us most.
   
   
3.  All participants are invited to join the in-person event 'The Final Mile' on Friday 9 August, to walk together in solidarity with people experiencing homelessness.
