Hutt St Centre

Introducing our new Ambassador, Ali Clarke

Posted by Hutt St Centre on 2022-03-10

In a world without COVID-19, we would have been celebrating Hutt St Centre’s 2022 Business Lunch at Adelaide Oval today.

This annual fundraising event brings together business leaders, professionals, and philanthropists to network and raise vital funds to support people experiencing homelessness in Adelaide.

But given the ongoing uncertainty around COVID-19, we made the difficult call to postpone the event until later this year. We’re hopeful this decision will mean a safer and more enjoyable day for all our guests.

And on this day, which would have been the Business Lunch, we have an exciting announcement – our annual Business Lunch MC and supporter, the amazing Ali Clarke, has officially become a Hutt St Centre Ambassador!

Born in Brisbane, Ali has called Adelaide home for over twenty years and has spent most of this time talking to people on Adelaide Breakfast radio. With top-rating shows on three different networks, she has recently returned home to MIX102.3 and also writes a regular column for InDaily.

When she’s not running around with her three children, Ali advocates for the South Australian community through Ambassador roles with Hutt St Centre and our friends at Volunteering SA & NT.

Ali says:

“I’ve been involved with Hutt St Centre for many years. It's so very important because they make a tangible difference in people’s lives and their ongoing physical and mental wellbeing. That's why I'm proud to support them."

A huge thank you to Ali for her passion and commitment to helping us end homelessness. From serving soup at East End Cellars to MCing our Business Lunch, Ali takes every opportunity to show her support for people doing it tough.

In particular, our Business Lunch is a key fundraising initiative for the essential services we provide and Ali’s contribution is a huge part of its success. Thanks to her and the incredible support of our Business community, we can continue creating opportunities to help people rebuild their lives.
