Social Impact Measurement Network of Australia (SINMA) Awards

Posted by Hutt St Centre on 2019-10-22

We’re delighted that Connections Weeks has been announced as a Runner Up in the “Collaboration Category” at the annual Social Impact Measurement Network of Australia (SINMA) Awards this year. The SINMA Awards recognise and celebrate Australian organisations working to measure their social impact and the difference they are making.

A collaborative effort of inner city service providers, State Government and the City Of Adelaide, Connections Week was established in 2018, by Don Dunstan Foundation, Hutt St Centre, Neami and other Adelaide Zero Project Partners.

“Connections Week provides the mechanism for workers and volunteers from across Adelaide to connect with rough sleepers in the inner city,” said Lynda Forrest, Acting CEO of Hutt St Centre.

“It is so important for us as inner city service providers to connect with inner city rough sleepers, to know them by name and to better understand their needs and how we can support them into sustainable accommodation.”

Congratulations to the other runners up and winners in the SINMA Awards.
