Finding hidden talents

Posted by Hutt St Centre on 2017-04-12

Every Monday you will find a group of budding artists exploring and discovering their hidden artistic talents at Hutt St Centre. The art mentors have encouraged the group to focus on a theme of nature, wildlife and landscapes and some lovely work has emerged. In February, Bunnings Mile
End Café launched a small exhibition by eight of the artists which ran through to the end of March. The Art Group is supported by a grant from the Adelaide City Council, through supply of paints, brushes and board from Bunnings Mile End and your generous donations.

The artists are selling their work at the Centre after the exhibition. For details contact Sam P on 8418 2500.

Art Group member, Peter (pictured above), was recognised as an Inspiring Achiever. Peter took up art in his 30s and joined the art group in 2015. Since then he has shown incredible personal growth, with a willingness to share his artistic talents with others as a mentor and a leader. He has
shown pride in his work and gets great enjoyment, as do those around him, from sharing his gift with others.
