What might your community group do to address homelessness in Adelaide?

• Get involved in Hutt Street Centre’s major fundraising events:
  • Register as a group for Walk a Mile in My Boots in August
  • Support the The Big Picnic @ TouchWine event
• Sell Hutt Street Calendars within the community in November and December.
• Encourage talented people within your community to volunteer at Hutt Street either as individuals or small groups.
• Invite someone on the staff at Hutt Street Centre to visit your community to talk about the centre and answer your questions about those who rely on the Centre and the nature of support available to those who visit.

Please pass it on via email, social media or print out and pin up at home or work to inspire others to join you.

Don’t turn away from those who are currently homeless or on the move. Help dismantle stereotypes and misconceptions about those who are most vulnerable in our community. Like every member of your family, each person who comes to Hutt Street has a unique life story that is not yet complete. You’ll be shaping your own life stories as you make a difference to the lives of others.
