Please see the results of this program so far – let’s keep the referrals flowing and demonstrates how Nav’s ‘create space program’ is working in with Ali and Tyrone.

CREATE space is working with the Kiikstart program to ensure the best help is given to those in need and wanting to get their lives back on track.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES WORKING SOLUTIONS SEPTEMBER 2011 TO JANUARY 2012.

15 people have participated in the program so far with the following results achieved.

  • Self Employed or working towards establishing business 1
  • Employed 3
  • Returned to Study 4

Please note figures can appear skewed as some clients are actually undertaking a variety of activity at one time.

Arts Project

Painting for Pleasure is an art space where everyone is welcome to come and paint, draw or chat. The art room is now open five days per week. Key strengths of the group include providing each other with peer support, being given an opportunity to hone painting, drawing and story telling skills and valuing living culture.

There are a number of talented artists coming in to paint and our plan for 2008 is to explore how we can generate an income for the artists.

Gang-Greens

View the video clip and read the story of one of our "Gang-Greens"  as featured in this recent Messenger Newspaper article.
