Portavin Touch Wine
This friendly wine-tasting picnic event is held in Adelaide’s parklands every year and incorporates a social touch football competition between local and national wineries together with extensive wine tasting, food and entertainment.
Since the first event in 2005, Touch Wine has proven to be a very popular family event on the wine industry calendar.
In November 2007 the event saw 48 wineries slogging it out on the field while 300 sponsors and their guests enjoyed a great day of wine tasting and socialising. In the end, the event raised $100,000 a remarkable feat for any fundraiser, especially one which is only in it's third year.
